"This was the 1st time I witnessed the Bishop of Anuradhapura, and the other chief leaders of the religious community being seated together in one row, in a event which is organized by the local community."

"I am representing a multi religious young association. I am working for SEDEC. I am so happy to be a part of this. This is what I was really looking for. We as young a group need more guidance, knowledge and skills to contribute for the improvement of the country. I feel so confident about the CPBR team and what they are doing….. I want to give this experience to the other members of my society and then partner with the CPBR team and our religious group to promote inter religious harmony in the North Central province."

"Still we are reading the history which is describing 2500 before. This is the 1st time I got an opportunity to compare my own religion with other political and sociological theories. This is the first time I felt that this is what Buddha preached. Because the Buddhism we are learning today is not what Buddha preached. It is a great experience which I really want to contribute more in future."

"I am attached to a main inter religious working group attached to an NGO. But this is the first time I experienced a group of people who facilitated the program living with the group as peer members of their own group. The commitment and the genuine effort which I experienced here is very new to me and it has inspired me a lot. That's why I want to be a volunteer organizer for the future activities."

"The first day when I saw Buddhist monks…. I thought oh... God, how can we live with others. We don't know whether we had to behave in specific way. Then I saw Mullars and Hindu Kurukkal. I was so helpless. Then….end of first day. I realize they are also like us. Same like us. It is amazing to be with other clergy communities. We are different. But in a way we are same. All of us are preaching to achieve peace. But…. I understood I have to do lot of homework. Not to preach to practice."
